Laurie is the founder of Curtain Call and serves as Artistic Director at the studio. She has been choreographing and performing professionally over the last 20 years. Her various experiences have included choreographing the Opening Ceremonies of the Pan Am Games, performing in Civic Theatre’s "42nd Street", ensemble dancer in the Moving Company, and assistant choreographer for the Walt Disney 500 Festival Parade. Laurie also co-choreographed the Wayne Township production of the "Music Man" and most recently the Ben Davis High School production of "Beauty and the Beast." Laurie also travels throughout the country adjudicating high school and college dance teams. Her judging experience includes Cheersport Nationals, NDA Nationals, WCA Nationals, several regional events and panel judge for the Indiana High School Dance Team Association. She currently directs Curtain Call’s Jr. Elite Performing Company, develops the studio’s class schedules and curriculum, and teaches all levels of tap, jazz, ballet, modern and musical theatre. Laurie’s passion for dance takes her to local schools where she is a guest speaker promoting dance and the performing arts.
