Julie Strike brings over 25 years dance experience to Curtain Call as a teacher and performer. Julie attended both Indiana University and the University of Minnesota where she was a performer in both schools’ dance programs. While living on the west coast, she was an instructor at the Marlo Dance Studio in Oregon where she also performed her best-loved roles as a dancer, the Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Sugarplum Fairy in the Nutcracker. Julie has also produced, directed and choreographed her own original production using excerpts from the Nutcracker when she was the owner of the Strike Academy of Ballet. She specializes in ballet and creative movement where the pre-school age students hold a special place in her heart. |
